A 24-hour relaxing trip in Busan – 부산

The summer is coming. Any plan how to spend this hot season of the year in Korea? If not, how about having a short trip to Busan? It is not only the 2nd biggest city in Korea, but also a wonderful city. Despite the long distance from Seoul to Busan, you can reach it within less than 2,5h thanks to the good KTX connection.

Here is my suggestion for a 24-hour-trip in Busan to have a relaxing but interesting tour. It’s also easy to go and suitable for family with kids.

Spring in Korea – 한국 봄 2019

Eventhough the winter of 2018-2019 was not very cold, it was somehow unpleasant. Maybe because days were short and trees were naked without leaves. No flowers were blooming during this time. But suddenly in March I could notice the first signs of spring…

It begann with the magnolia tree I saw in the Yonsei University’s campus. It was full with those little white buds, but not yet opened.

Some days later, I couldn’t remember anything else than the golden hedges over Seoul. They were colored beautifully by the yellow blooming fosythia.

Good things to know before go hiking in South-Korea

Have you heard that more than 60% the entire surface of South-Korea are mountains? No wonder, that there are so many hikers, rock climbers and mountain lovers in this country.

During the last months, I had many chances to go hiking and climbing, because the weather was just right for it. On my trips, I could not only enjoy the stunning landscape of Korean mountains, but also gain a lot of new experiences and knowledges about Korea. Each step was worthy!
